format_param¶

format_param(key, value, cmd=None)[source]¶

Format a single MAD-X command parameter.

This is the old version that does not use type information from MAD-X. It is therefore not limited to existing MAD-X commands and attributes, but also less reliable for producing valid MAD-X statements.
